My personal interpretation of the painting with a more medieval and gloomy attitude and the location crafted using my personal travel photos of Tuscany, in the province of Siena, certainly the most beautiful land in Italy (in my opinion) and one of the most wonderful countrysides of the whole world. I love Tuscany. Yes, if you know me: there are hidden symbols (and Tuscany is full of templar buildings, which I didn't know).
Just some notes I'd like to add to the description: Note1: Poussin's 1638 work seems to be setted somewhere in the mountains near Rennes-le-Château. I've setted my own in a landscape using the photographs of the countryside near Monteriggioni. Note2: et in arcadia ego is probably a Memento Mori and, though it's not clear how these words should be translated (because the verb is missing), it could perhaps mean «Even in Arcadia I exist», as spoken my someone who is dead or by the personification of Death itself. In my work, we are obviously not in Arcadia, so, the Arcadia can only be interpreted not as the actual setting of the scene but as the Reign of Death. Therefore, who are the Shepherds of Arcadia?
Oh wow, this is absolutely gorgeous. I am so honoured to see my stock here! I love the feel of this piece, and the background is absolutely stunning.
If you don't mind constructive crit, the staffs feel a little fake, I'd have tacked a texture onto them, they seem almost too smooth. The gradient makes especially the right most one look 3D rendered almost. The lighting isn't believable. If you do mind, er.... forget I said anything?
Either way though, I'd have to say it's so lovely, I feel slightly... mindfucked
No, actually there is a shadow that is COMPLETELY missing XXDDD I noticed after finishing it all X) No problem, anyway, I use these mistakes to improve, and thanks a lot for your criticism, I always welcome constructive criticism, it helps progress ^-^
Thanks for using my stock! I am so happy it helped you!
